Easy Peasy Ice Creams!

The base of all my ice creams are frozen bananas!

Here’s my frozen banana trick:

Keep the peal on the banana when you freeze it, that way only the peal will be dark and the inside of the banana will be perfect. When you are ready to make your ice cream, just simply scrape off the peel.

Simple Banana Ice Cream:

-2 frozen bananas

Chocolate Ice Cream:

-1/4 cup cacao powder

-2 frozen bananas

Berries and Dream Cream:

-1/2 cup frozen berries of choice

-2 bananas

Mango Ice Cream:

-1 mango fresh or frozen

-2 frozen bananas!

Combine in a vitamix and enjoy!! Happy summer to all 🙂

Now, I can move on and have much more focus, time and energy for meaningful activities. In the last 2 days, I have already accomplished so much.. and I am celebrating that!!

Making Homemade Pepper mint powder in Ida-the-vita!

Easy peasy Homemade Peppermint powder using a vitamix: Original idea

-A handful inwrapped peppermint cushion candies

-Your vita!

Blend em up on high, and allow it to settle before opening the lid, since it has turned into dust. Store in a mason jar away from dampness.

Also, does anyone else think that last picture looks like the lid is floating? Not sure how that happened!

You can use your powder to sprinkle on deserts instead of sugar, or to add to your hot cocoa or lattes during the holiday season!

Glazed Orange Rolls

Ryan’s father loves Orange Rolls. I found that out last year, at easter when we had a morning breakfast all together. Me and Ryan’s stepmom Candise made batches and batches of cinnamon rolls, and a couple special rolls, which were oranger flavored.

This year, when we went over to their house for thanksgiving, I took the oppertunity, to make a special treat just for him. Homemade Fresh, Glazed Orange Rolls.

Glazed Orange Rolls: from Ginger Bread Bagels

The author of ginger bread bagels does such a great job explaining this recipe, This is the ONLY recipe i’ve ever linked my readers too without my changes!

And they were tasty!!! I am thinking of turning it into a little tradition, and bring a couple at every holiday I join them for.

Sweet fall treats, and sharing!  🙂

A new take on my recipe for honey glazed carrots.

Honey glazed carrots take a little more time and effort than this recipe! This one is super quick and easy, you will love it if you have a pressure cooker

Thyme-Honey Drizzled Carrots & Apples: Original Recipe

-Five carrots, peeled and cut into pieces lengthwise

-1/2 cup honey

-two or three springs of thyme

-dash of cinnamon

-Salt and pepper

-tablespoon Apple Cider vinegar

-One apple; peeled and sliced thinly

In a pressure cooker steam the baby carrots, for 7 minutes after the lever has gone up. In a small bowl, mix all the sauce ingredients.  Drain the carrots, and add drizzle the sauce, toss in the apple.  Serve hot!
